Cold Sores, Hay Fever …. Going, Going Gone!
Our own family stories continue to amaze me: My sister Susan has been prone to big, terrible cold sores for years. They develop within her nose, or on the edge of her nostril. They take several days to fully develop and are very slowly heal. They’re not pretty (to say the least) and they’re very painful. As she felt the last one start to come on, she went to bed with a cotton ball that had been soaked in undiluted tea packed into her nostril. Guess what? It never fully developed, but immediately started to heal at this early, early stage, and was gone in 2-3 days!
TEA TRICKS: Susan now saves a tablespoon or two of undiluted tea in the refrigerator in a small container to use for medicinal purposes, such as blemishes, kitchen burns and insect bites.
My own husband, who develops an extremely itchy, miserable throat with a little annoying cough in October, came home from work several days ago and said, “Honey, are you missing something???” When I acted confused, he said, “It’s my fall hay fever and throat tickle!
